A rejuvenating waterfront retreat - EKHO Safari Hotel occupies a prime position in Tissamaharamaya. Scenically located by the ancient “Tissa Wewa” with an astounding view, EKHO Safari Hotel comprises of 03 suites and 47 deluxe rooms. The Tissamaharamaya Rest house started its operation in 1967 and is now restored to a comfortable and beautifully laid lake view property.

The stylishly designed 03 suites and 47 deluxe rooms have all been renovated with modern, fully equipped bathrooms and spacious rooms, facing the fantastic views of the Lake and the Pool. The suites facing the Tissa wewa have a lounge area with modern facilities and amenities.
It is also strategically located close to many places of historical, religious, cultural and wildlife interest and sites, such as the much visited Shrines in Katharagama and Kiri Vehera – which are also tabulated in the historical significances of Sri Lanka as the great pilgrim shrine, which is dedicated to God Skanda, a popular Hindu deity. In addition, the Hotel is also in close proximity to the Sithulpawwa Rock Temple, and for those with an interest in wildlife; the Yala Wildlife Sanctuary, Ruhunu National Park and Bundala Wild Life Park too are close by. (Jeeps could be arranged by the Hotel, for safaris around Yala and Bundala Wildlife National Parks)
