Jetwing Beach is a luxurious five-star hotel in Negombo, Sri Lanka's closest holiday resort to the airport. It is stylishly designed along contemporary lines, taking the surrounding seaside landscape into full view. Influences of Geoffrey Bawa’s architectural design, such as the open verandas, walk ways and waterways, let in the cooling ocean breeze and the tropical sun. Interiors are minimalist and elegant with cement floors and walls infused with a touch of amber, enhanced by pieces of dramatic contemporary art in the lobby area. Enjoy the sun and surf and be pampered at the in-house spa. The turquoise seas are ideal for swimming and surfing during the season from December to April.
Accommodation
There are 75 Deluxe Rooms and three Suites, beautifully laid out with ensuite bathrooms and a balcony or ground floor terrace with sea views. All rooms and suites have individually-controlled air-con, IDD telephone, satellite TV, DVD/CD player, mini bar, tea/ coffee making facilities, electronic safe and hair dryer.
Deluxe Rooms: These spacious rooms are furnished with luxurious king-sized beds and have ensuite bathrooms with bath tubs and enclosed rain showers.
Suites: The luxurious suites have sitting and dining spaces, a courtyard with sun loungers and a large open-plan bathroom with open-air rain shower and Jacuzzi. They also come with a butler service that will coordinate all aspects of your holiday, including in-room dining and excursions. A day-bed serves as an additional bed. For families needing more space, the suites have adjacent deluxe rooms with interconnecting doors.
Dine on Sri Lankan and international cuisine at the Black Coral fine-dining restaurant, or The Sand which overlooks the beach, or try some of Sri Lanka's numerous varieties of world-famous teas at the Tea Corner. There is also an excellent pool bar offering snacks. There is also in-room dining and special romantic dinners organized on the beach under the stars. Relax and be pampered at the luxurious spa with steam baths and plunge pools, which offers a variety of aromatherapy, Thai and Shiatsu massages and aromatherapy treatments. The Rama & Seetha room at the Spa equipped with a Jacuzzi for a relaxing flower bath with scented candles is a treat for couples. Other facilities include a fully-equipped conference facility and business center, modern gymnasium, tennis and squash courts, billiards and table tennis and two swimming pools. A babysitter can be organized upon request.
