OLYMPUS PLAZA HOTEL - HAPUTALE

This star class hotel is located in Haputale on Welimada Road, is just completing its 9 years in operations which offers guests a clean and healthy climate with gorgeous views of the lower central highlands. The hotel features 3 wings that boast of 42 accommodation units in total while all rooms and suites are elegantly furnished with modern amenities to make your stay comfortable. The Olympus Plaza Hotel has its own restaurant that serves a variety of cuisine while the Bar and Lounge area is the perfect solution for a chilled out evening in the hills. Excursions can be made to a number of waterfalls and tea estates with time in hand.

STANDARD ROOM

The hotel consists of three wings with forty two rooms and elegantly furnished with all amenities with individual balconies except five rooms; viewing two of them to Southern, Southern Eastern parts of the central mountains and surrounding plains while other wing overlooks spectacular view of the Sleeping Warrior mountain range, Fox Hill, amidst the lush green of tea plantations.

LOCATION

Located in Haputale which is a beautiful town with a cool climate approximately 179km away from the commercial hub of Colombo, the Olympus Plaza Hotel is surrounded by breathtaking views. The drive to Haputale is a memorable experience and the most convenient route to reach the town is via the Avissawella - Ratnapura - Bandarawela main road. The town centre also consists of a bus station and a railway station while the train journey is a picturesque experience altogether although the journey takes about 7 - 8 hours through the central highlands.
